¡Sí Se Puede!
One big bilingual party every spring.
Music, lotería, food, a dunk tank, dance performances and a silent auction. It is the best day of our year and, not coincidentally, the reason we can fund anything at all.

The festival
What happens.
Music & dance
Student performances plus local musicians. Loud, joyful, running slightly behind schedule.
Food
Food trucks and family-made dishes. Bring an appetite and small bills if you like.
Games
Lotería, the dunk tank, face painting, and whatever a committee member dreams up in March.
Silent auction
Moving to its own online window so the day itself can just be a party.

Get involved
It takes about sixty people.
Most roles are a two-hour shift on the day. A handful are planning roles that start in the winter. Both are useful and neither requires experience.
- Day-of shifts — games, food, setup, teardown, welcome table.
- Auction — collecting items and running the online window.
- Sponsorships — asking local businesses, which is easier than it sounds.
- Performance coordination — wrangling dancers and a sound system.
For local businesses
Several hundred Hyattsville families, one afternoon.
Sponsor a stage, donate an auction item, or send in-kind goods. We put your name on the signage, the programme and the socials — and we mean it when we say thank you.
